We’re celebrating engineering fields as part of the launch of EiE Careers for Engineers, a new online experience for kids to explore STEM careers. One career featured on our interactive Careers quiz is computer science engineering!
Computer science engineers solve problems and design hardware and software interfaces. They can be responsible for the development and prototyping of software and hardware of all kinds, from video games and movies to the software we use to connect to people around the world.
What kinds of jobs do computer science engineers do?
→ Software engineers who create programs to run on computers that are only limited by the engineer’s imagination -- from translating to internet connection
→ Animators and illustrators who bring video game and movie characters to life on screen
→ Data scientists who analyze data and information for businesses to meet customer needs
