Exciting News from EiE® and Pear Deck™

Posted by EiE Team on Tuesday, June 28, 2022

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Pear Deck™, a student engagement platform providing interactive learning and formative assessment solutions. As part of the collaboration, Pear Deck will offer a series of EiE-developed interactive STEM lessons that support educators in introducing the critical topic of climate change to students in grades 3–8.

2022 PD MoS Blue-Green 1xTogether with Pear Deck, we have transformed ten of our climate change activities into engaging, interactive, slideshow-style lessons for teachers to add to their curriculum. Our climate change-themed lessons will offer students the opportunity to build knowledge on an important topic, expand their STEM literacy and align with state and national standards.

Each of the presentations include standards-aligned lesson plans, formative assessments, real-world examples and videos, enhanced with the interactive features of the Pear Deck application.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Pear Deck and the amazing technology from GoGuardian which will give EiE an incredible opportunity to expand these important lessons to thousands of educators with interactive tools to engage students in vital conversations.” Heather Gunsallus, Vice President of STEM Education and Services at EiE, Museum of Science, Boston, said.
