#CSEdWeek Will Show Us Computer Science is Everywhere!

Join us for Computer Science Education Week, December 6 to 10, for all new activities for your Computer Science learners!

This annual celebration and call to action encourages all of us to see Computer Science everywhere and inspire students in grades K-12 to learn CS essentials, advocate for equity and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers and partners to the field.

We have two, brand new activities for #CSEdWeek, featuring pre-recorded webinars by our experts to help you facilitate them with your learners. These unplugged activities are sure to delight computer scientists of ages 4-12 in a face-to-face, hybrid, or virtual learning environments.

Exploring Computers —  What is a computer? In this activity, learners will explore what makes a computer work, examine computers, identify computer parts (input, processing, output), and apply what they learn! The activity will include an instructional webinar and free downloadable resources for students aged 6-11!

Robot Games — What is a robot? In this activity, participants create algorithms to move a robot from start to finish and have fun practicing decomposition and bugging.​ The activity will include an instructional webinar and free downloadable resources for students aged 4-12!
