Hands-On STEM Activities To Inspire a Love of The Great Outdoors

Posted by EiE Team on Thursday, June 16, 2022

It’s Great Outdoors Month! To inspire students to connect with the world around us, we’ve compiled some of our favorite hands-on STEM resources that encourage students to love the great outdoors and learn about environmental and animal conservation, climate change and more.

Help Emi and Kenji engineer a solution to move a ladybug in their bedroom safely back outside with a FREE download of our Bye, Bye Bug activity book

In Water Reuse: Testing the Waters, become a water resource engineer and use the steps of the Engineering Design Process to design creative ways to reuse water.

Also in our Engineering Everywhere Units are lessons like Growing Up: Engineering Vertical Farms, Go Fish: Engineering Prosthetic Tails and Plants to Plastics: Engineering Bioplastics

Plus, new on our Learn.EiE platform, support in-class and at-home learning online with climate change lessons for learners in grades 3-8. New videos, activities, discussion prompts, and more centered around climate change are now available. Sign up for this content and more today!
