Posted by EiE Team on Friday, December 11, 2020

Exciting news from the EiE team! We've been accepted to present our design principles for inclusivity at this year's American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting - a global, virtual conference for Earth and Space Science professionals.

The AGU Fall Meeting will feature 1,800+ sessions and nearly 20,000 presentations, with over a dozen keynote talks and panels from leading voices worldwide, from December 1st-17th.

Our presentation, Core Values and Principles Guiding STEM in Out-of-School, will stream on December 14th and will feature work from Joelle Clark from Northern Arizona University (one of the masterminds behind our PLANETS 2.0 project) with contributions from the EiE team.

Join us as we cover the design principles and values that we use to create meaningful, hands-on STEM learning during OST for K-12th grade learners:

Engagement

Relevant and Meaningful Learning

STEM Content

Social and Emotional Learning

STEM Identity

Get suggestions for youth curriculum materials as well as educator support resources for implementing these values by attending our presentation. Register here or visit the AGU homepage for more information!
