National Space Day is Friday, May 6th! Every year, the first Friday in May is dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary achievements, benefits, and opportunities in the exploration of space. February 11: National Inventors’ Day & International Day of Women and Girls in Science

In 1983 President Ronald Reagan declared February 11th as National Inventors’ Day, with the date chosen in honor of the birthday of Thomas Alva Edison. The United Nations deemed the same date the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in 2015 in recognition of the contributions of women to the field. Today, we’re proud to have February 11th as a celebration of STEM excellence from all inventors all over the world.

Make STEM HerStory with the Museum of Science and EiE!

This Women’s History Month, we are proud to announce our latest campaign to empower girls through STEM education. The Museum of Science and EiE are partnering with public school districts and community organizations across the US to provide girls with access to EiE storybooks!

8 Things We’re Grateful for this Year!

This year has been a whirlwind and, as we approach year end, many of us at EiE and the Museum of Science are reflecting on what 2020 has brought us. While no one could have prepared for the far-reaching impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic, we are touched by the ways our community has adapted and responded to such an uncertain time.

Celebrate National iSTEM Day with us at Museum of Science, Boston!

September 18 is National iSTEM Day! The new holiday, launched last year by our friends at the STEM Leadership Alliance, is a celebration of the advancement of STEM learning.
